Sash Window Refurbishment

We have a complex period home with significant heritage requirements, so we were understandably picky about who would create our new front door. This company was a joy to work with. They completely ‘get’ old properties and were really helpful when it came to compliance with historic building regulations. The finished result is superb; who would have thought we could achieve some insulation as well!

We couldn’t decide for ages between new sash windows or secondary glazing. These guys were so patient with us and went through the different benefits and drawbacks several times with no pressure to make a decision. Ultimately, we opted for secondary glazing and are so pleased with the results. There is significantly less noise and much more heat, plus the units don’t mask our original sash windows or spoil the aesthetics. The service was excellent, too – five stars all round!

The installers have just finished, and you honestly wouldn’t know they have been here – they even hoovered! We needed old secondary glazing removed and new units fitted. Everything was done in a timely and professional manner, with great care taken not to impact the existing sash windows or any of the internal décor. We would have no hesitation in using this company again, but it looks from the workmanship and performance as if we won’t need to see them for many years to come.
