Sash Windows
Projects Belfast

  • Name: Brian Lynch – Abacus Construction Ltd
  • Location: Belfast
  • Cost: £22,000
  • Project Details: We were invited to tender by a construction company to create new sash windows as part of a joint Council and commercial regeneration project in the Belfast docklands. Numbers were large, and the actual windows themselves gigantic, but we were able to accommodate both the complexity and scale of this project with delivery ahead of time and on budget. The result is an authentic historical recreation with 21st-century soundproofing and thermal regulation, perfect for the planned mix of residential and commercial units.
  • Name: Mia Kelly
  • Location: Limavady
  • Cost: £6,500
  • Project Details: A cottage restoration turned out to be more extensive than Mia thought. Part of this was opting to replace ugly and inefficient uPVC windows with authentic timber sliding sash windows. The results look amazing and also help with soundproofing as the cottage is roadside. The thermal regulation has reduced Mia’s heating bills, and at last, the building isn’t draughty.

Happy Sash Window
Customers in Belfast

Mick Anderson

I buy old properties and do them up, only one at a time; I wouldn’t call myself a developer. I have used sash-windows.co.uk and their sister company, William Richards, on more than one occasion to help me renovate or replace old sash windows. Their products are great as they are always historically authentic, plus their performance is as good as any uPVC equivalent. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Mandy Kelly

We run a family construction company and regularly restore old houses, so sash-windows.co.uk has proved invaluable to our team. However, increasingly, we have used them on new builds where we are looking for optimal thermal regulation and a traditional finish. Whatever the age or style of the building, these guys always come up trumps.

Our Belfast

Belfast and the surrounding towns and villages are a key part of our success story, so in 2019, we opened an office here on Arthur Street.
